Doubling Email Marketing Revenue in 10 Days

I was met with a challenge today.

I need to help an Ecom brand double their Email marketing revenue in just 10 days...

And this is while they have TERRIBLE deliverability.

My Klaviyo Tech tested their flow emails, and each one is literally going to spam.

And to make matters worse, we're doing this for free.

Why?

Well, I could sit here and say it's because I just care so much about helping brands realize the potential Email marketing has for them and blah blah blah...

But the real reason is because they will sign with us if we hit the milestone.

The milestone is to simply take all the revenue their current strategy has generated so far in June, and double it in the last 10 days of June.

And in this email, I'll tell you exactly what we're going to do.

And I'm fairly confident that we'll hit the goal.

Let's get into it.

First, we'll start with the opt-in.

When I first came across this brand, their opt in form was converting at just 1%.

That's really bad.

Now, we've already set our fresh one up and it's converting over 2x as well as that, but we need to get it to 5%+ ASAP.

Keep in mind, this niche is not your typical Ecom brand niche, so opt ins here may be a little bit tougher to crack, but that doesn't mean it's not possible.

Now, how will we get the form to 5%+?

We're running a split test on the layout.

After 4-5 days, we'll select a winner and run that for the remainder of the month.

Why the layout?

Well, I wanted to test the offer, but the marketing manager is firm on keeping the offer at 10% discount.

The timing and copy of the form are both already using our top-converting formula, so I don't think we'll get much from changing that.

So we're going with a design test, changing the layout of the form.

Next, campaigns.

Now, I thought about this for a minute, but here's the strategy we're going to take considering we have just 10 days and bad deliverability...

First, we're going to mail all the non-buyers with a slightly more direct response based plain text email.

Hopefully we can crack the inbox with the plain text format, and get some buyers.

2nd, we'll hit ONLY the buyers with a design email. We'll see if we can crack some sales out of them there.

Then, we'll do one last 3rd campaign to all the people who engaged with the first 2 emails, and this will be a plain text hybrid email, which will have a super strong hook and plug a collection they sell.

For the flows, we're just going to leave those as is.

We already made a free welcome email and browse abandonment email for them, so those will be doing their thing.

I'm pretty confident that we'll hit the goal, and I'll let you know if we do.
